•AIX Performance Toolbox and Performance AIDE for POWER Version 3.0

2. Apply all recommended PTFs as per OSS note 81737.

3.Configure the GbE adapter for the GbE LAN.

4. Reboot AIX and verify z/OS TCP/IP connections:

- ping the TCP z/OS hostname
